the Convention Center, delegates will find trendy nightclubs, discotheques and bars that come alive once
the sun goes down. Following are some interesting nightlife areas to check out.

Old San Juan
Old San Juan comes to life at night like few other places in Puerto Rico, shedding some of its cultural allure
for an exciting blend of voices, live music, fine dining and dancing. One of its main venues, San Sebastian
Street, is lined with pubs and bars where people from all walks of life gather to enjoy the sights and sounds
of the lively nightlife scene. Be prepared though - the night starts early and ends late in Old San Juan.

Isla Verde
A narrow stretch of road lined with a varied collection of hotels, Isla Verde is a haven for those looking to
stay up late. It features glittering nightclubs, beachfront bars and a lively cluster of casinos that are within
walking distance of one another. One of the most popular activities is hitting the casinos of the area. Even if
gaming isn't your thing, there are plenty of places to people watch, dance and dine.

OUTSIDE OF SAN JUAN
Piñones
Piñones is Puerto Rico at its rustic best. At night, the best way to start your evening is watching the sunset
from a seaside terrace before grabbing a bite to eat. Then you can dance Salsa or meet new friends in the
area's casual watering holes.

La Guancha - Ponce
One of the most popular activities for both locals and visitors is walking along the boardwalk of La Guancha.
Encompassing a very large area, the boardwalk's main attraction is the food. Here visitors will find countless
kiosks serving up frituras stuffed with nearly every ingredient available from the land and the sea.

Boquerón Town - Southwest
The town of Boquerón is a must-stop. Aside from its several annual festivals, the town has numerous bars
and music clubs. Outdoor concerts are a local specialty. With its proximity to a handful of college campuses,
the area's vibrant nocturnal scene is one of the best in Puerto Rico.

Luquillo Kiosks - Northeast
Luquillo Kiosks, next to the entrance of Luquillo Beach, are excellent locations to experience local culture
firsthand. About 80 or 90 kiosks line up along the road featuring different local foods, beer and shopping.
You can dance at a few kiosks, have a drink anywhere you choose and sample every type of food to be
found beachside in Puerto Rico.

Le-Lo-Lai Festival
Offered year-round, the Le-Lo-Lai Festival is one of the most attractive and entertaining cultural festivals in
Puerto Rico. Featuring popular and folkloric music five times a week, the festival was designed to showcase
the Island's colorful blend of Spanish, Indian and African traditions, customs and heritage.
