The objective of the Green Program implemented at the Puerto Rico Convention Center (PRCC) consists of providing a safe environment for all of our guests, who enjoy a visit to the Center, by having recyclable products that do not harm the health of our visitors, our staff and the environment. All products used to clean the PRCC are green products; some of them are:

Tissue paper
Paper towel
Toilet paper
Chemicals for cleaning the restrooms, bathrooms, offices, and public areas
Some of the products that are been recycled include:
Wooden pallets
Kitchen oil
Paper
Card board boxes |
The PRCC management is also involving other organizations and suppliers such as the Engineering Department for electrical conservation, HVAC for Hepa filters and control thermostats on the building, Termini for pest control, and Eco lab for the kitchen use and landscaping.
This comprehensive program consists of different phases, to include:
Launching of the program and involvement of the staff and collection process;
Create awareness and monitoring the progress of recycling centers and the resources used; and
Secure the commitment and involvement of partner organizations such as: Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority, Puerto Rico Convention Center, Puerto Rico Convention Bureau and other public and private organizations.
These measures are being taken to ensure our guests and staff with an enjoyable ambiance providing the best service and environment that the Puerto Rico Convention Center can offer during their visit and/or event.
